Bitesized puzzle box 1

This is a level 3/10 puzzle box and is the first of the bitesize series that will consist of smaller boxes that are simpler and show mechanisms of bigger boxes. This box uses a simplified version of the mechanism from my 'interlocked' puzzle box. 

The aim of the puzzle is to find the treasure hidden within the cavity which is released after both locks are released. I used a standard diamond piece but you can use whatever fits into approximately the size of a 1x1 brick. Unlike other boxes, a little bit of force can be used on this box, yet do not push, twist or pull too hard. 

HINT: The gear can only move in one direction, what is causing this?
