Interlocked box instructions

The interlocked box is a level 6/10 puzzle, it seemingly consists of two interlocked parts which house the hidden treasure within. For this puzzle, lateral thinking is key, not brute force, so be careful as it can be fragile in places.

NOTES: The rendered images are only to show how the box look assembled and are therefore hollow, the instructions will show you how to build it properly. The colours are interchangeable and can suit any individual. Also, for the gear system, I used an old gear rack which as a different height, therefore the gear system will have to be modified for each individual. For the prize, I used diamond pieces but you can use whatever fits into the tray which is just smaller than 2x4x3 studs and plates in size. The instructions form an exploded view of the puzzle, this means that whilst building, the gear rack must be placed into the cavity of the small white piece which must then be placed into the puzzle whilst building the main white box. The box requires four modified sliding bricks which have their inner tubes removed, these are shown as clear in the instructions but are white for me.
